Grid Runner Tutorial

OVERVIEW
Grid Runner is an endless runner where you sprint through a neon corridor, dodging obstacles across three lanes. Jump, slide, and switch lanes to survive as long as possible.
You start with 3 lives. Every time you hit an obstacle, you lose one. When all three are gone, your run ends. There are no extra lives — every hit counts.
Along the way, collect data cubes (1 point) and rare stars (10 points) that appear in jump arc patterns. If you find the Mirror Ball, you trigger Party Mode — 16 seconds of invincibility with a music switch and flashy effects.
Speed increases every 20 seconds, so the longer you survive, the harder it gets. See how far you can go and compete on the global leaderboard.

FEATURES & TIPS
Features
- 3-lane endless runner with procedurally generated obstacles.

- Double jump to reach higher trajectories and grab elevated stars.
- Slide has no cooldown — hold it as long as you want.
- You can switch lanes mid-jump and mid-slide freely.
- Mirror Ball power-up triggers Party Mode: 16 seconds of invincibility with visual and music effects.
- Combo system: chain pickups within 2 seconds for score multipliers.
- Speed increases every 20 seconds, with your current level shown on the HUD.
Tips
- Look ahead, not at your feet. React to obstacle patterns early.
- Stars are worth 10x more than cubes. Double jump to grab them when you can.
- When in doubt, slide. It's free, unlimited, and dodges all low obstacles.
- Chain pickups within 2 seconds to build combos. Plan your lane switches.
- Save your lives for later levels. Avoid all hits in the early, slower stages.
- During Party Mode, ignore obstacles entirely and collect everything in sight.
- Stay calm at high speeds. Panic inputs cause more crashes than anything else.
SCORING SYSTEM
Combo: Collect items within 2 seconds of each other to build a combo chain. The chain resets if you go 2 seconds without picking anything up. During Party Mode, go all-in on collecting for massive combo scores.
