Cyber Stack Tutorial

Cyber Stack - High tower with neon blocks stacked
Cyber Stack - Tower collapse physics animation

OVERVIEW

Cyber Stack is a physics-based stacking game. Blocks orbit above your tower in a figure-8 pattern — time your drop to place them as precisely as possible and build the tallest tower you can.

Every block you place affects the balance of the entire tower. Place a block off-center and the torque builds up over time. A small mistake at level 3 might not matter, but the same error at level 15 can topple everything.

As the tower grows, the margin for error shrinks — a height penalty progressively tightens the safe zone. Six different block shapes (Square, Circle, Rectangle, Oval, Hexagon, Pentagon) keep every placement unique.

There's no timer. The block orbits until you place it. Take your time, read the orbit, and drop it when it's centered. Your score is simply how many blocks you stacked.

FEATURES & TIPS

Features

  • Physics-based stacking: each block's placement affects the balance of the entire tower below it.
  • 6 block shapes: Square, Circle, Rectangle, Oval, Hexagon, and Pentagon — all same base area, different geometry.
  • Figure-8 orbit: blocks trace an infinity path above the tower with a random offset each time, so you can't memorize timing.
  • Height penalty: the safe placement zone shrinks as the tower grows. Precision matters more the higher you go.
  • No timer: the block orbits forever until you place it. Take as many cycles as you need.
  • 3D camera: rotate, tilt, and zoom to check alignment from any angle before placing.
  • Stability meter on HUD: shows real-time structural health of your tower. Hits zero = collapse.
  • Satisfying collapse animation when the tower falls — full physics simulation with tumbling blocks.

Tips

  • Center is everything. The single most important thing is placing blocks as close to center as possible.
  • The figure-8 crosses over the center twice per cycle. These crossover points are your best drop windows.
  • Rotate the camera to check alignment from multiple angles. What looks centered from one side may be offset from another.
  • No rush — there's no timer or speed bonus. Wait for the perfect moment.
  • The height penalty gets serious after 10 blocks. Slow down and be extra precise as the tower grows.
  • Watch the stability meter. If it starts dropping, your next placement needs to be dead-center to recover.
  • A slightly off placement early on is recoverable. The same mistake high up is fatal. Budget your precision.

SCORING SYSTEM

Simple scoring: Your score = number of blocks placed. No bonuses, no multipliers. Every block counts equally, so consistent precision beats occasional lucky drops.
